Job Description & Selection Criteria
Great Southern Press is a dynamic and growing publishing company based in the CBD. We are looking for a new book-keeper to manage our accounts as we continue to grow. The hours are very flexible depending on the availability of the right candidate.

You will need to have strong MYOB, Excel and accounting skills and some prior experience with book-keeping. It is also essential that you are motivated and honest with a good eye for detail and good written and verbal communication skills.

The position will involve accounts payable and accounts receivable, administering payroll, GST and other tax obligations (superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG) as well as compiling reports for management on a regular basis. The successful candidate should also be a team player who can take an interest in the overall business rather than just a number cruncher.

You will work with the Managing Director and the Office Manager and will also provide some back-up with regard to administrative duties such as filing.
