Our continued growth means that we have an exciting and unique casual opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Food Services Team at Courtlands Village, North Parramatta.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing residents' meals and ensuring that the kitchen work area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness at all times, under the instruction of the nominated catering staff.

Essential Requirements:

* Able to work autonomously and independently with limited supervision in high care, extra services, dementia and ageing low care units,
* Experience and understanding of basic food preparation,
* Infection control standards knowledge,
* Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety procedures,
* Understanding of HACCP,
* Have flexibility with working hours and easily contactable,
* Must have a Certificate in Food Handling,
* Current NSW Drivers Licence,
* Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one,


Desirable:

* Experienced with working with the elderly.
