Delicatessen Assistants

Thomas Dux Grocer is an exciting specialty food store opening in Mona Vale and Hornsby soon. We are currently looking for Part-time and Casual Delicatessen Assistants. If you have previous experience working in delicatessens, have a passion for good quality food and customer service, we are interested in you.

PURPOSE:
To ensure our customers are provided with quality deli and bakery products at all times whilst delivering superior service and up-to-date product knowledge

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receipt of stock in an accurate and efficient manner
· Filling and merchandising of delicatessen to ensure that at all time the highest quality merchandise is on show
· Complete set up and shut down of department as required
· Ensuring a safe environment for our customers, staff and suppliers
· Delivering superior customer service at all times
· Assisting the Deli Team leader as required
· Overseeing the stock room and storage of product

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong product knowledge
· Merchandising and Stock management skills
· Attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills and customer service oriented
· Strong team player
· Pro active / High energy levels
· Passion for retail and food

EXPERIENCE:
· Experience working in a delicatessen; min 2 years
