Sport Lived Mentor

Sport Lived is a gap year company which arranges for young people from the UK to play and coach sport in Australia and New Zealand.

We are currently recruiting a part time representative to provide on the ground support for our customers in Melbourne.

What you'll do:

• Meet Sport Lived customers at the airport and take them to their accommodation in Melbourne
• Show them around the city, show them how to get to their sports clubs, organise an introduction with their sport club, use public transport, open a bank account etc.
• Act as an emergency contact in Melbourne
• Keep in regular contact with customers during their programme to ensure they are having a good time
• Liaise with Sport Lived staff in Australia and the UK
• Liaise with Sporting Clubs and Accommodation Providers
• Organise regular social events

What you'll need:

• To be 100% trustworthy and reliable
• A friendly and approachable manner
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to build excellent customer relationships
• An interest in both sport and travel
