Selection Criteria:
We require an UNDERGRADUATE student with a Friendly Personality, Experience with Retail Sales, Cash Handling and Point of Sale equipment.
Good oral communication skills are paramount. Must be an Australian Resident.
Interest in Photography would be an asset.

Job Description:
Sales Assistant required by pharmacy in St Kilda on a part-time basis for a minimum of 12 months. The role is primarily responsible for providing friendly and helpful service to customers.

This pharmacy has been under the same ownership for 19 years, and values their employees.

The successful applicant must be willing to make a minimum 12 month commitment to the job. The cost to the employer for (compulsory) training is significant, warranting the expectation of a reasonable term of commitment from applicants.

The successful candidate must be willing to do at least one Weekday shift (3:00 pm to 9:00 pm) and at least one WEEKEND Shift (9:00 am to 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday or Sunday).

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO COMMIT TO THESE TWO SHIFTS AS A MINIMUM.

Applicants must have a friendly and outgoing personality.
Experience is preferred and an interest in photography would be advantageous, as the succesful applicant will be trained in film processing and development.

Clear and fluent communication is paramount. Oral communication skills and comprehension is vital.

Hours: Various shifts are available, requiring some flexibility from the successful candidate. The employer will also offer flexibility at peak study/exam times.
