• Must be organized, responsible and reliable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Speak / write fluent English
• Willingness to learn
• Currently studying / working in the field of psychology, education or disabilities

Job Description:
We are seeking the services of a therapist to work on a 1:1 basis with our autistic 6 year old boy. He has completed 3 years of Applied Behavioural Analysis ( ABA ) therapy and currently attends primary school. Therapy sessions would be after school hours from 4 – 6pm, 2 days per week.

Training in ABA can be provided; this is a teaching method used to develop skills by breaking up complex tasks into simpler, smaller steps. This is an intensive behavioural and education programme where you will have the opportunity to be part of a team, working under the guidance of a psychologist / program supervisor. The program will include learning in the areas of play, communication, social and behaviour management.
