Job Description & Selection Criteria
Context:
As members of our Energy and Resources Team, our analysts are required to develop a strong understanding of specific sub-sectors of the energy and resources domain, contribute to the exploration and appraisal of major project and market opportunities, and participate in pursuing and realising these opportunities.

This role has a strong commercial focus. Candidates with an interest in energy and resources and who are keen to pursue a career in strategy and commerce are encouraged to apply.

Four places are available.

Targeted Disciplines:
Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Law, and Science.

Selection Criteria:
Professional skills -
Strong research and analytical skills,
Keen problem solving ability,
Clear communication (listening, speaking, reading, and writing),
Quick thinking, good judgment and deep creativity,
Ability to work individually and within a tight-knit team, and
Ability to deliver within tight deadlines.

IT skills -
High proficiency in the use of Internet search engines and research databases, and
Medium to high proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Attitudes -
Results oriented,
Exceptional work ethic,
Strong desire to learn, and
Highly motivated and energetic.

Job Description:
Our Analysts:
Undertake secondary research by consulting external sources of data,
Undertake primary research by designing appropriate surveys and executing them,
Analyse the data collated using appropriate models that exist within or beyond Negotiation,
Draw sensible conclusions on domains, enterprises, projects and energy and resource assets and technologies,
Make informed recommendations,
Create professional reports and compelling presentations,
Participate in client and internal meetings in a supporting capacity, and
Implement our recommendations.

Our Analysts work closely with our Consultants. Our Directors actively support transition from part-time to full-time employment upon graduation.
