Assistant Leader

Job Description & Selection Criteria
Openaid is seeking an Assistant Leader to help oversee the general operations of the program in Melbourne.

Selection Criteria:
* A minimum of two years experience volunteering in community organisation or group
* Proven capacity to develop and managing administrative systems
* Experience delivering well-organized presentations
* Demonstrated ability to conceive, articulate and execute strategies;
* Ability to communicate, coordinate, and build relationships (i.e. especially with young people, church leaders, university groups);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
* Genuine passion and enthusiasm to work hard to reduce poverty and trafficking devastating women and girls

Job Description:
* Coordinate team meetings to maintain relations and effective communication and procedure/policy requirement
* Manage weekend fundraising roster
* Consult with administrator to ensure commitments are maintained
* Solving administration problems as they arise
* Supporting volunteer coordinator to achieve objectives
