Job Description & Selection Criteria
Openaid currently runs a weekly BBQ fundraising program to raise funds for the ongoing work of Openaid. We are seeking 1 mature person to join this initiative. Applicants will be expected to show clearly their commitment to the position and potential to use their abilities to improve the success of the program. Applicants must be committed to the cause of Openaid.
Job description
* Supervise Sunday BBQ Team as rostered in Essendon
* Drive Mazda Econovan (manual) to site -- challenging reversing involved
* Interaction with customers to develop friendly and effective dialogue and connection between Openaid
* Supervise council Health and Safety requirement
* Report to Openaid director
Selection criteria
* Friendly and personable
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong level of personal organisation
* Proven experience driving manual vehicle
Applicants must write a short cover letter outlining your short and long term career goals, aand how your involvement will add value to the organisation in 2009.
