Customer Service / Technical Support

We are a growing Telco / ISP seeking a technically minded, customer service oriented person to join our Customer Service team.
In this role you'll take responsibility for providing customers with the best service experience possible and assist with enquiries related to billing, account or technical issues.
In this role, you will be exposed to many areas of an ISP and will provide you with invaluable experience, confidence and improve your communication skills.
You need to have:
* Excellent knowledge of Dialup and ADSL technology
* Experience in setting up Dialup and ADSL connections
* Experience in configuring a variety of consumer routers
* Be a quick learner and able to use systems accurately
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Good written communication skills
Prior experience in a Level 1 ISP consumer support role is desired but not necessary.
Other requirements:
* Completed year 12
* Friendly and courteous manner
* Excellent work ethics
* Self motivation
Primary responsibilities:
* Answer inbound billing enquiries
* Answer inbound technical support enquiries
* Respond to customers by email communication
* Escalate unresolvable issues
* Ensure customer satisfaction
If you are customer focused, technically competent (with experience in Internet applications and technologies) and would like to gain working experience (or extra money) then please submit your application.
This is a SHIFT based role and the successful applicant must committ to a minimum of 12 hours a week.
